Grid Metals Drills 0.28% Nickel Over 341.7 Metres At Bannockburn, Ontario – Resource World Magazine
Grid Metals Corp. reported final results from the 100%-owned Bannockburn nickel property near Matachewan, Ontario, and approximately 100 km south of Timmins.
Other drill results included 22.56 metres of 0.30% nickel, 112.0 metres of 0.32% nickel, 193.50 metres of 0.31% nickel and 169.30 metres of 0.20% nickel.
The new mineralogical work will complement a historical metallurgical test study completed by SGS that showed a low-grade composite sample with 0.33% total nickel and approximately 70% sulphide nickel could produce a 35% nickel concentrate.
Drilling at Bannockburn targeted the B zone, an over-one-kilometre-long, steeply-dipping trend of bulk tonnage, secondary nickel sulphide mineralization that exhibits similar nickel grades and thicknesses to Canada Nickel’s Crawford nickel sulphide deposit.
The 2021 drill program confirmed that there are large areas with enhanced nickel contents in the B zone trend with average nickel grades generally falling in the range 0.24 to 0.32% nickel over widths of over 100 to 369 metres.
These results are similar to those reported by Canada Nickel for its Crawford deposit nickel resources.
“The drill program at Bannockburn combined with new mineralogical test work will provide crucial information as to the prospectivity of the B zone to host a bulk tonnage nickel deposit capable of producing a high-grade nickel concentrate through standard flotation. From our historical work and the 2021 drilling and our forward looking mineralogical study we will have a solid information base to guide next steps at the project,” said Dave Peck, vice-president of exploration and business development.

TORONTO, ON / ACCESSWIRE / March 11, 2022 / Grid Metals Corp.(OTCQB:MSMGF) today released the final results from the Bannockburn Nickel Property near Matachewan, Ontario and ~100 km south of the mining city of Timmins.
The new mineralogical work will complement a historical metallurgical test study completed by SGS that showed a low-grade composite sample with 0.33% total nickel and ~70% sulfide nickel could produce a 35% Ni concentrate.
Drilling at Bannockburn targeted the B Zone, a >1 km long, steeply-dipping trend of bulk tonnage, secondary nickel sulfide mineralization that exhibits similar nickel grades and thicknesses to Canada Nickel’s Crawford nickel sulfide deposit.
Nickel data reported here are considered to represent total nickel and will include some percentage of unrecoverable silicate-bound nickel.
The study showed that the only nickel sulfide mineral present in this composite was heazlewoodite containing an average of over 70% nickel, with heazlewoodite accounting for over 70% of the total nickel present in the feed sample.

What Is Product Marketing?
Our Product Marketing Framework covers all the necessary areas required to navigate the product marketing journey, from A to B to C to D… the list goes on.
Our 2020 State of Product Marketing report revealed that only 5% of product marketers are 100% sure that the role of product marketing is fully understood.
“Product Marketing is the voice of the sales organization and the voice of the client in the product development and release process. If you’re a product marketer and not spending lots of time talking to your field and lots of time talking to your clients, get out there! We can’t create product messaging, sales enablement or campaigns in a vacuum. Everything we turn out as a product marketing group needs to be created with our customer at the center and serve to inspire them about the possibilities of using our technology to better serve their customers.”
“It’s the product marketer’s job to imbue meaning into the corporate masterbrand through its product portfolio – building equity that adds value to the masterbrand and differentiates the product brand from its competitors. Good product marketing simplifies and targets a product such that its pipeline creation actions are more successful; and ultimately speeds pipe closing and product growth toward a more rapid trajectory.”
“Product marketing changes from place to place or it is incredibly executional for other teams and not a strategic position. When you go from one organization that has the view of product marketing as a writer to another company that wants it to be more of a marketer driving leads, it feels like you don’t know what the role actually is and that’s a frustrating feeling.”I do think it’s cause for concern because product marketers have turned into the everything role that takes on a lot of responsibility across the organization with no real foundation.
“There’s no doubt in my mind that product marketing should be the first marketing hire. PMMs aren’t nice-to-haves, or an extra layer to add to the department down the line, they need to be the foundation of the product and marketing team’s growth plans because they’re the ones advocating your customers and ensuring company outputs are in-line with market needs.”
The beauty of product marketing is there’s no such thing as one, set path and this is something we’ve been asking as part of our Product Marketing Insider podcasts.
What Is A Product Market?
Definition: A product market is the economic marketplace where final goods or services are traded.
The product market is the place where supply and demand of final goods interact with each other.
An example of a free market would be the retail market, where few regulations are imposed and market players are free to interact between each other.
On the other hand, an example of a restricted market would be the nuclear energy market which, due to the dangerous nature of the product, must be heavily regulated to avoid negative outcomes that might put society at risk.
The global health care market has many different subdivisions.
The pharmaceutical market is heavily regulated in comparison with the health care equipment market.
All these player together form what we known as the health care product’s market.

Product marketing sits at the intersection of product strategy, sales, customer success, and marketing.
One might tell you product marketing sits with the product; one might tell you product marketing sits with sales.
We’ll then look at how product marketing differs fundamentally from traditional marketing and product management.
Here’s Founder & CEO of the Product Marketing Alliance, Richard King, on how far the product marketing profession has come.
The Product Marketing Alliance surveyed product marketers to understand the state of product marketing.
Here’s a very simple breakdown of what those key roles are within product marketing 👇. At the center, you have your head of product marketing.
“Amongst the group of experts we surveyed, we found that product marketing’s main goal is sign-ups. Almost as frequently mentioned was active product usage and paid activations. Churn reduction and upgrades were mentioned quite a bit less frequently as primary goals. So, it seems that product marketing is mostly focused on getting users in the door and getting them to purchase and use the product.”

The group said all its food businesses had experienced increasing inflationary pressures in raw materials, commodities, supply chain and energy.
The group expects further growth in profit at AB Sugar at the half year.
AB Foods outlook for the full year was unchanged with “Significant progress” expected in both adjusted operating profit and adjusted earnings per share.
Associated British Foods PLC Sees 1H Sales, Adjusted Operating Profitto Be Strongly Ahead Of Last Year
Associated British Foods PLC said Monday that revenue and adjusted operating profit for the first half of fiscal 2022 are expected to be significantly higher than a year earlier.
The British conglomerate also said sales and adjusted operating profit for the 24 weeks ending March 5 are anticipated to be above the pre-Covid-19 levels of the first half ended Feb. 29, 2020.
Associated British Foods
Associated British Foods’ highly diverse business got it through the pandemic with very few scars.
That’s led management to guide for a margin decline in the second half of the year.
Sales are expected to be over 60% higher than last year, reflecting the reopening of Primark stores after lockdowns.
Rising costs will weigh on margins, as the impact of consumer price increases won’t be realised until later periods.
Sales growth offset rising energy costs associated with the Virvergo bioethanol plant coming online, so underlying operating profit should improve.
Is expected to be “Well ahead” of last year, but margins will decline compared to the first half of the year as it will take time for price increases to offset rising costs.
This should feed into a £795m increase in net cash excluding lease to £1.5bn. Find out more about Associated British Foods shares including how to invest.
Associated British Foods Optimistic For Half-Year On Primark Strength
Associated British Foods PLC said on Monday that it expects total sales in its half year to be strongly ahead of last year and also ahead of pre-pandemic levels.
For the six months to March 5, the company’s first half, Associated British Foods said it expects Primark sales to be over 60% ahead of last year at constant currency with an operating profit margin of 11%. It said this sales increases reflects the fact that all its Primark stores remained open and trading throughout the period except for short periods in Austria and the Netherlands.
Total sales for Primark are expected to be 4% lower than pre-Covid levels in the same period two years ago, however.
In Grocery, revenue in the first half is expected to be 2% ahead of last year while AB Sugar revenue is expected to be 20% ahead of the previous year, driven by higher sugar and bioethanol prices.
The company’s financial year ends September 18.
Associated British Foods intends to announce its half-year results on April 26.
Shares in Associated British Foods were down 3.5% at 1,891.00 pence on Monday morning in London.

Amazon.Com: Cooking Oil
Even an occasional cook needs to have some type of cooking oil in the pantry.
These plant-based oils are used for everything from frying to baking to making salad dressings.
There are so many different types of cooking oils on the supermarket shelves, you might be tempted to throw your hands up in confusion, and then go home with the familiar bottle of vegetable oil.
That’s certainly not the healthiest choice, and there’s no need to stick with only one type of oil.
American Heart Association
Use these oils instead of solid fats and tropical oils, which can have a lot of saturated fat.
Here’s an alphabetical list of common cooking oils that contain more of the “Better-for-you” fats and less saturated fat.
In general, choose oils with less than 4 grams of saturated fat per tablespoon, and no partially hydrogenated oils or trans fats.
Some oils are better for certain types of cooking than others, so you may want to have more than one type in your pantry.
You can usually use cooking oils just like solid cooking fats.
Tips for cooking with healthy oils: The healthier oils listed here are generally safe for most home-cooking uses, including higher temperature cooking such as stir-frying and pan frying.
Buy cooking oils in smaller containers to avoid waste, and store them in a dark, cool place to keep them fresh longer.
4 Healthy Cooking Oils
This article reviews 4 healthier cooking oils that tolerate high heat cooking, as well as discusses a few oils that you should avoid altogether for cooking.
Highly refined oils have a uniform appearance and tend to be less expensive, whereas oils that have undergone minimal processing may contain sediment particles, have a cloudier appearance, and maintain more of their natural flavor and color.
Unrefined oils may contain more nutrients, but they’re also more sensitive to heat and may go rancid more quickly than highly processed cooking oils.
Refined oils tend to have higher smoke points than unrefined oils.
Some refined oils are extracted using chemical solvents, while other oils are extracted by pressing plants or seeds.
Olive oil has long been the gold standard for cooking oils in kitchens across the globe.
Some of the healthier cooking oils that can withstand higher cooking temperatures include olive oil, avocado oil, sesame oil, and safflower oil.
Top 8 Healthy Cooking Oils
Not all cooking oils are created equal, and there are many types of cooking oil and benefits that you may want to consider next time you hit the grocery store.
Healthy cooking oils with a low smoke point can be used to top off cooked dishes or amp up the flavor of dips, spreads and dressings instead. Certain cooking oils also have distinct flavors, which can alter the taste of the final product.
With so many types of cooking oil out there, it can be difficult to differentiate between unhealthy and healthy cooking oils.
Although certain essential oils can be used as healthy cooking oils in food preparation, they tend to be very fragile, meaning they can oxidize quickly under high heat.
Final Thoughts on Cooking Oils So what is the healthiest cooking oil, and which ones should be a staple in your kitchen pantry? Selecting the best cooking oil depends on which method of cooking you’re using as well as what recipe you’re making.
Healthy cooking oils like avocado oil, ghee, coconut oil, grapeseed oil, olive oil, walnut oil, sesame oil and red palm oil each boast a unique set of health benefits and can be used in different ways.
Ideally, use a good mix of all of these healthy cooking oils to enjoy the potential benefits that each has to offer and add a bit of variety to your diet.

Radio Frequency
Electromagnetic frequencies ranging from 3 kHz to 300 GHz. Radio frequency is the oscillation rate of an alternating electric current or voltage or of a magnetic, electric or electromagnetic field or mechanical system in the frequency range from around 20 kHz to around 300 GHz. This is roughly between the upper limit of audio frequencies and the lower limit of infrared frequencies; these are the frequencies at which energy from an oscillating current can radiate off a conductor into space as radio waves.
Electric currents that oscillate at radio frequencies have special properties not shared by direct current or super low frequency alternating current used for electrical power distribution.
More detailed band designations are given by the standard IEEE letter- band frequency designations and the EU/NATO frequency designations.
The MOS integrated circuit is the technology behind the current proliferation of radio frequency wireless telecommunications devices such as cellphones.
Medical applications of radio frequency energy, in the form of electromagnetic waves or electrical currents, have existed for over 125 years, and now include diathermy, hyperthermy treatment of cancer, electrosurgery scalpels used to cut and cauterize in operations, and radiofrequency ablation.
Magnetic resonance imaging uses radio frequency waves to generate images of the human body.
Test apparatus for radio frequencies can include standard instruments at the lower end of the range, but at higher frequencies, the test equipment becomes more specialized.
Radiofrequency Radiation
When talking about radiation and cancer, many people think of specific kinds of radiation such as x-rays or the radiation made by nuclear reactors.
Radiation exists across a spectrum from very low-energy radiation to very high-energy radiation.
RF radiation has lower energy than some other types of non-ionizing radiation, like visible light and infrared, but it has higher energy than extremely low-frequency radiation.
Although RF radiation is not thought to cause cancer by damaging the DNA in cells the way ionizing radiation does, there has been concern that in some circumstances, some forms of non-ionizing radiation might still have other effects on cells that might somehow result in cancer.
A 2019 review of these two studies by the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection determined that the limitations of the studies didn’t allow conclusions to be drawn regarding the ability of RF energy to cause cancer.
The American Cancer Society does not have any official position or statement on whether or not radiofrequency radiation from cell phones, cell phones towers, or other sources is a cause of cancer.
The report concluded: “Based on the studies that are described in detail in this report, there is insufficient evidence to support a causal association between radiofrequency radiation exposure and.”
How The Radio Spectrum Works
Short wave radio – bands from 5.9 megahertz to 26.1 megahertz.
Citizens band radio – 26.96 megahertz to 27.41 megahertz.
Television stations – 54 to 88 megahertz for channels 2 through 6.FM radio – 88 megahertz to 108 megahertz.
Why is AM radio in a band at 550 kilohertz to 1,700 kilohertz, while FM radio is in a band at 88 to 108 megahertz? It is all completely arbitrary, and a lot of it has to do with history.
AM radio has been around a lot longer than FM radio.
The first radio broadcasts occurred in 1906 or so, and frequency allocation for AM radio occurred during the 1920s.
In the 1920s, radio and electronic capabilities were fairly limited, hence the relatively low frequencies for AM radio.
Radio Frequency Bands
Accordingly, Electromagnetic waves in this frequency range are called radio frequency bands or simply ‘radio waves’.
To prevent interference between different users, the generation and transmission of radio frequency bands is strictly regulated by national laws, coordinated by an international body, the International Telecommunication Union.
Different parts of the radio spectrum are allocated by the ITU for different radio transmission technologies and applications; some 40 radio communication services are defined in the ITU’s Radio Regulations.
A radio frequency band is a small contiguous section of the radio spectrum frequencies, in which channels are usually used or set aside for use.
Pursuant to convention, the ITU divides the radio spectrum into 12 bands, each beginning at a wavelength which is a power of ten metres, with corresponding frequency of 3×108−n hertz, and each covering a decade of frequency or wavelength.
3-30 MHz. 100-10 m. Shortwave broadcasts, citizens band radio, amateur radio and over-the-horizon aviation communications, RFID, over-the-horizon radar, automatic link establishment / near-vertical incidence skywave radio communications, marine and mobile radio telephony.
Radio astronomy, high-frequency microwave radio relay, microwave remote sensing, amateur radio, directed-energy weapon, millimeter wave scanner, wireless LAN. Terahertz or Tremendously high frequency.
Definition From Techopedia
Radio frequency refers to the rate of oscillation of electromagnetic radio waves in the range of 3 kHz to 300 GHz, as well as the alternating currents carrying the radio signals.
Although RF really stands for the rate of oscillation of the waves, it is synonymous to the term “Radio,” or simply wireless communication.
Radio frequency is being used in a lot of fields, but in the context of information and communications technology it refers to the frequency band at which wireless telecommunications signals are being transmitted and broadcast.
The VHF band, which ranges from 30-300 MHz, is being used for FM radio, TV broadcasts, and amateur radio and its counterparts.
This is the space used by mobile phones, wireless LAN, Bluetooth, and TV and land radio.
Radio frequency is produced by oscillating current a specified number of times and then radiating it off a conductor, referred to as an antenna, into empty space as electromagnetic radio waves.
This effect is the core and basis of radio technology.
Industrial Process Heating
Founded in 1946, Radio Frequency Company’s 40,000 square foot design and manufacturing facility is located in the suburbs of Boston Massachusetts alongside of the historic Charles River.
RFC is the world’s leading manufacturer of advanced industrial RF processing systems for the rapid heating, drying, curing, disinfestation and pasteurization of food products and industrial materials.
Radiofrequency Ablation
Radiofrequency ablation, or RFA, is a minimally invasive technique that shrinks the size of tumors, nodules or other growths in the body.
Some people are not good candidates for open thyroid nodule surgery due to other medical conditions.
Your doctor will let you know if you are eligible for RFA. It is important to understand that because the procedure does not remove the nodule completely, you will need to have more ultrasounds of your thyroid in the future.
For most patients, RFA is appropriate only for benign nodules.
Over time, more cells of the nodule die, and the nodule shrinks in size.
The entire nodule might not be removed with one treatment, but as the nodule shrinks, symptoms are likely to improve.
Because RFA thyroid nodule treatment is relatively new, risk for these procedures is still being evaluated.

Digital Therapeutics Alliance
The Digital Therapeutics Alliance is a global non-profit trade association of industry leaders and stakeholders engaged in the advancement of evidence-driven digital therapeutics.
DTA works to broaden the understanding, adoption, and integration of clinically evaluated digital therapeutics into healthcare through education, advocacy, and cross-industry collaboration.
DTA maintains an international industry presence and is proud to work with members from 15 countries spread across four continents.
How Digital Therapeutics Can Help Solve The Mental Health Crisis
Digital therapeutics is a term that can broadly be defined as a treatment or therapy that uses digital and often Internet-based health technology to create, support, and maintain positive behavior change.
Due to the growing prevalence of mental health issues in the general population, investors poured over half a billion dollars into the mental health industry in 2020, nearly five and a half times more than they spent in 2016.
In short, the demand for mental health services is increasing across the United States, but the current supply of mental health professionals is just not enough.
Experts then are increasingly looking to DTx to help address the ongoing mental health crisis.
The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence and the American College of Physicians suggest behavioral therapy for most mental health issues.
It has become increasingly apparent that these solutions are insufficient to address the current mental health crisis in the United States and abroad. The digital health field’s explosive growth during the COVID-19 pandemic has helped DTx find ready markets for their products, but the young sector faces regulatory and reimbursement challenges.
Only clinically validated digital solutions driven by digital therapeutics and backed by science, and compliant with FDA regulations will help address the mental health crisis for good.
Digital Therapeutics
Digital therapeutics, a subset of digital health, are evidence-based therapeutic interventions driven by high quality software programs to prevent, manage, or treat a medical disorder or disease.
Although digital therapeutics can be employed in numerous ways, the term can broadly be defined as a treatment or therapy that utilizes digital and often Internet-based health technologies to spur changes in patient behavior.
The first mention of the term in a peer-reviewed research publication was in 2015, in which Dr. Cameron Sepah formally defined the field as: “Digital therapeutics are evidence-based behavioral treatments delivered online that can increase accessibility and effectiveness of health care.” Digital therapeutics can be used as a standalone therapy or in conjunction with more conventional treatments like pharmacological or in-person therapy.
The Digital Therapeutics Alliance states: “Digital therapeutics deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to patients that are driven by high quality software programs to prevent, manage, or treat a broad spectrum of physical, mental, and behavioral conditions.” Digital therapeutics are different from wellness apps or medication reminders in that they require rigorous clinical evidence to substantiate intended use and impact on disease state.
A patient with prediabetes may be prescribed digital therapeutics as a method to change their diet and behavior that could otherwise lead to a diabetes diagnosis.
A patient with type II diabetes can use digital therapeutics to manage the disease more effectively.
Digital therapeutics can also be used to treat patients with psychological and neurological symptoms.
What Are Digital Therapeutics? » DTx Explained
Among digital health, a promising and fascinating sub-field is digital therapeutics.
Digital therapeutics can: Complement/enhance traditional treatments by helping patients manage their condition.
Real examples of digital therapeutic products: BlueStar, developed by welldoc, helps patient with type 2 diabetes lowering blood glucose levels prompting patients to track medications intake and lifestyle, sharing data with clinicians and thanks to automated and tailored coaching messages.
Adding reSET-O to patient undergoing buprenorphine and contingency management increased retention rate from 64.4% to 82.4% through the 12 weeks of digital treatment.
Unlike traditional therapies, the digital soul of DTx allows a virtuous feedback loop.
Every interaction with digital products may be easily tracked, informing/suggesting possible refinements able to increase users’ engagement and adoption and, thus, health outcomes.
This opportunity further increases the potential of digital therapeutics.
Role Of Digital Therapeutics And The Changing Future Of Healthcare
Differentiating between digital health, digital medicine, and DTx is essential to avoid confusion among digital health stakeholders as well as the manufacturers and developers of these products for better placement and utility of these products in the market.
Digital health acts as an umbrella entity that encompasses digital medicine which includes DTx. Products categorized under all these categories convey different levels of claims and risks.
Digital diagnostics, digital biomarkers, and remote patient monitoring devices are a few examples of digital medicines.
To distinguish DTx from other digital health innovations, the DTA has elaborated on what makes a product classified as a DTx. Even though DTx is a part of the digital health domain, it is different from diagnostics, telehealth, and other digital health products.
In addition to the digital drugs and applications, DTx is also increasingly incorporating VR technology owing to the recent advancements paired with falling costs.
DTx incorporation guidance by other regulatorsThe National Institute for Health and Care Excellence, together with NHS England and NHS Digital in the UK, is also trying ways to accelerate the uptake of digital innovations.
Notwithstanding significant solutions offered by DTX to poorly addressed conditions and substantial evidence proving their clinical value, DTx entities have not yet significantly entered the mainstream healthcare.
A spokesperson for the Digital Therapeutics Alliance explained how digital therapeutics are easier to deliver to patients in a situation, such as the pandemic: “Since most digital therapeutic interventions are delivered at least in part through patient-owned devices, few technical barriers exist to the implementation and scalability of [such] products. And these solutions can provide patients with continuous support and therapy when they are actively experiencing symptoms or are unable to immediately access their healthcare providers.”
As with many other aspects of life during the pandemic, digital technology has become even closer entwined with everyday life, and, according to the spokesperson for DTA, the demand for a digital solution to health problems is also increasing – not only from patients, but from clinicians and payers as well.
Despite the potential for digital therapeutic adoption, unlike digital technology companies that have experienced rapid growth during the pandemic, companies focused on such treatments have a development cycle that means overnight commercial success is unlikely.
CEO of Pear Therapeutics, Corey McCann told pharmaphorum that the development process for a prescription digital therapeutic can take between three and five years.
As the area of bringing a digital therapeutic to market means passing the same level of regulatory scrutiny as a traditional, pharmaceutical therapy, this means “Prescription digital therapeutics must undergo extensive clinical trials to demonstrate their safety and effectiveness before they ever reach patients,” said McCann.
The spokesperson for DTA suggested that already digital therapeutics have found a niche in “Addressing critical gapsfor underserved populations,” such as Limbix’s treatment for depression in adolescents – where there are few treatment options.
The ability for patients to engage with their own healthcare on an active basis and for the clinician to be able to follow the potential progress of the treatment should also lead to better health outcomes for those receiving digital therapeutics.
Insider Intelligence expects DTx to be a $56 billion global opportunity by 2025.Digital therapeutics market.
Last year, Insider Intelligence expected the DTx space to hit nearly $9 billion by 2025, but its new forecasts expect DTx to be a $56 billion global opportunity by 2025.
There has been an increase in regulatory acceptance and venture capital funding for the DTx market, as investors place their bets on consumers’ heightened interest in DTx platforms.
The FDA has been paving the way for swift DTx development-empowering DTx vendors to launch their platforms quicker than ever before.
Pharma companies have been strategically pouring cash into DTx firms to capture a slice of the growing DTx market.
With the FDA greenlighting multiple DTx treatments, pharma companies can invest in DTx solutions with more confidence that they’ll see a return on investment.
As the DTx market swells alongside the digital health boom, more cash-rich telehealth vendors may purchase DTx startups, or develop their own DTx solutions in-house.

If you’re unsure about whether or not your pharmacy complies with these requirements, you can always go to the NABP list of verified online pharmacies and check its certification status.
While one of the benefits of buying from online pharmacies can be lower prices, some medication will still be unaffordable for many.
These are almost always redeemable in large retail pharmacies like Costco and CVS, but may also include online pharmacies, such as Healthwarehouse.com.
How To Buy Medicines Safely From An Online Pharmacy
Ever been tempted to buy your medicines from an online pharmacy or another website?
There are many pharmacy websites that operate legally and offer convenience, privacy, and safeguards for purchasing medicines.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration warns that there are many rogue online pharmacies that claim to sell prescription medicines at deeply discounted prices, often without requiring a valid prescription.
These Internet-based pharmacies often sell unapproved or counterfeit medicines outside the safeguards followed by licensed pharmacies.
How can you tell if an online pharmacy is operating legally? The FDA’s BeSafeRx can help you identify and avoid fake online pharmacies.
There are ways you can identify a safe online pharmacy.
Another way to check on a website is to look for the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy’s Verified Internet Pharmacy Practice SitesTM Seal, also known as the VIPPS® Seal.

Online Pharmacy
An online pharmacy, internet pharmacy, or mail-order pharmacy is a pharmacy that operates over the Internet and sends orders to customers through mail, shipping companies, or online pharmacy web portal.
Online pharmacies in the United States are required to be approved by the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy.
In that study, all tested prescription drug orders were found to be authentic when ordered from online pharmacies approved by pharmacychecker.com; U.S. online pharmacies approved by the NABP, Verified Internet Pharmacy Practice Sites program, or LegitScript; and Canadian-based online pharmacies approved by the Canadian International Pharmacy Association.
There are two verification programs for online pharmacies that are recognized by the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy.
Mail Order Pharmacies are regulated by the federal laws of the U.S. and hundreds of them operate legally in the US. The U.S. FDA believes that ICANN should do more to block and seize what the agency views as illegal online pharmacy websites.
ICANN has articulated the position that it does not have the organizational mandate to take down online pharmacies, stating in one post on its website, “That ICANN is not a court and is not empowered to resolve disputes when parties disagree over what constitutes illegal activity in multiple countries around the world.” The Electronic Frontier Foundation, a non-profit organization defending civil rights on the Internet, views the influence of the pharmaceutical industry on the Internet as a form of censorship that threatens the ability of American consumers to access medicines in other countries purchased from online pharmacies that sell legitimate medicines.
While there are no laws specifically targeting online pharmacies in India, various laws govern online pharmacies indirectly.

Pharmacy Automation
Pharmacy automation involves the mechanical processes of handling and distributing medications.
This aspect of pharmacy automation was quickly adopted, and innovations emerged every decade to aid the pharmacy industry to deliver medications quickly, safely, and economically.
These newer technologies allowed pharmacy staff to confidently dispense hundreds of prescriptions per day and still be able to manage the many functions of a busy community pharmacy.
A trend in pharmacy is to place a greater reliance on technology and pharmacy automation to minimize the chance of human error and speed up the process of dispensing.
Community pharmacies typically handle a small number of Hazardous Drugs; therefore, using pharmacy automation for Hazardous Drugs generally follows this guideline: pharmacy staff use an exception tray and spatula to count any Hazardous Drug, and decontaminate the tray and spatula immediately following.
All other medications dispensed in the pharmacy that are not Hazardous Drugs can be counted with pharmacy automation safely if the manufacturer’s cleaning directions are followed.
Various companies are currently developing a range of remote tablet counters, verification systems and pharmacy automation components to improve the accuracy, safety, speed and efficiency of medication dispensing.

Cloud Gaming
Cloud gaming, sometimes called gaming on demand or gaming-as-a-service, is a type of online gaming that runs video games on remote servers and streams them directly to a user’s device, or more colloquially, playing a game remotely from a cloud.
Cloud gaming platforms operate in a similar manner to remote desktops and video on demand services; games are stored and executed remotely on a provider’s dedicated hardware, and streamed as video to a player’s device via client software.
Some cloud gaming services are based on access to a virtualized Windows environment, allowing users to download and install service clients and games as they normally would on a local computer.
Cloud gaming can be advantageous as it eliminates the need to purchase expensive computer hardware or install games directly onto a local game system.
Further, the costs of cloud gaming shift from traditional distribution through retail outlets and digital storefronts to the data servers that run the cloud gaming services.
Cloud gaming requires significant infrastructure for the services to work as intended, including data centers and server farms for running the games, and high-bandwidth internet connections with low latency for delivering the streams to users.
Nvidia first announced its cloud gaming service, Nvidia Grid, as a combination of hardware using its graphics processing units and software in May 2012, initially intending to partner with Gaikai for games on the service.

Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction
The discovery of retroviral reverse transcriptase in the early 1970s ultimately made RT-PCR possible.
One-step RT-PCR combines the RT reaction and PCR reaction in the same tube.
7.4.1.4 Reverse transcription-polymerase chain reactionReverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction is a sensitive in vitro method and has a crucial role in medical science and biomaterial fields.
It involves reverse transcription of purified RNA by RT via an appropriate method for priming and amplification of first-strand cDNA using some variant of PCR. Normalization of samples is very important in RT-PCR, and the efficiency of first-strand cDNA synthesis is one of the most important determinants in the success or failure of this method.
Reverse Transcription-Polymerase Chain ReactionReverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction is feasible in clinical laboratories with its own set of challenges.
2.3 Reverse transcription PCRReverse Transcription PCR was developed to amplify, isolate or identify RNA sequences.
Recently, certain thermostable reverse transcriptases have become available; these can allow reverse transcription to be perfomed at an elevated temperature, which improves reaction efficiency by minimising the secondary structure of the template RNA. rTth polymerase functions both as a reverse transcriptase and as a DNA polymerase.
Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction
Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction is a laboratory technique combining reverse transcription of RNA into DNA and amplification of specific DNA targets using polymerase chain reaction.
Technique Abbreviation Polymerase chain reaction PCR Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction RT-PCR Real-time polymerase chain reaction qPCR RT-PCR / qPCR combined technique qRT-PCR. Not all authors, especially earlier ones, use this convention and the reader should be cautious when following links.
RT-PCR has been used to indicate both real-time PCR and reverse transcription PCR. Since its introduction in 1977, Northern blot has been used extensively for RNA quantification despite its shortcomings: time-consuming technique, requires a large quantity of RNA for detection, and quantitatively inaccurate in the low abundance of RNA content.
The further use of inhibitor-tolerant polymerases, polymerase enhancers with an optimized one-step RT-PCR condition, supports the reverse transcription of the RNA from unpurified or crude samples, such as whole blood and serum.
Because most eukaryotic genes contain introns, which are present in the genome but not in the mature mRNA, the cDNA generated from a RT-PCR reaction is the exact DNA sequence that would be directly translated into protein after transcription.
One-step RT-PCR subjects mRNA targets to reverse transcription followed by PCR amplification in a single test tube.
Once a one-step RT-PCR kit with a mix of reverse transcriptase, Taq DNA polymerase, and a proofreading polymerase is selected and all necessary materials and equipment are obtained a reaction mix is to be prepared.
Reverse Transcription-Polymerase Chain Reaction
Reverse transcription coupled to the polymerase chain reaction is commonly used to detect the presence of mRNAs, pre-mRNAs, or other types of RNA such as noncoding RNAs.
The method involves using a primer annealed to the RNA of interest.
For mRNA, the primer is usually a synthetic oligo(dT)15-18, a random hexamer mixture6, or a synthetic DNA oligonucleotide that is complementary to a specific transcript.
This DNA:RNA hybrid serves as a template during reverse transcription, in which the enzyme reverse transcriptase generates a single-stranded cDNA copy of a portion of the target RNA molecule.
Using random hexamer priming, it is possible to obtain representative cDNA copies of sequences from the entire length of the mRNAs and pre-mRNAs in a population.
This cDNA can then be used as a template for PCR. On addition of gene-specific primers, a specific DNA fragment corresponding to a portion of the RNA of interest is generated.
Thermo Fisher Scientific
In spite of the rapid advances made in the area of real-time PCR detection chemistries and instrumentation, end-point RT-PCR still remains a very commonly used technique for measuring changes in gene-expression in small sample numbers.
Comparative RT-PCR mimics competitive RT-PCR in that target message from each RNA sample competes for amplification reagents within a single reaction, making the technique reliably quantitative.
Comparative RT-PCR yields similar sensitivity as relative and competitive RT-PCR, but requires significantly less optimization and does not require synthesis of a competitor.
Relative RT-PCR uses primers for an internal control that are multiplexed in the same RT-PCR reaction with the gene specific primers.
All 18S Internal Standards work well in multiplex RT-PCR. These kits also include control RNA and an Instruction Manual detailing the series of experiments needed to make relative RT-PCR data significant.
Competitive RT-PCR precisely quantitates a message by comparing RT-PCR product signal intensity to a concentration curve generated by a synthetic competitor RNA sequence.
Whether you choose to perform real-time, relative, competitive, or comparative RT-PCR, we offer products to simplify your RT-PCR experiments and make the data more quantitative.

The major drawback of this test is that the probability of error is more in the negative result of this test.
Another test is required to be done to confirm the results if tested negative.
